A Comprehensive Speech & Voice Development Program for Children Aged 4 to 12.
Young Voices is designed to foster children's cognitive, psychological, artistic, and social growth through play, music and performance.
This program integrates music-based learning to achieve developmental milestones in speech & voice, while fostering confidence and social skills through performance opportunities.
Cognitive Development: Throughout the lessons, we will use mindfully curated songs and musical activities to support speech development milestones. By incorporating phonics into fun and memorable tunes, students enhance their language skills and improve their pronunciation, blending, and understanding of complex sound patterns.
Psychological Development: Performing in student recitals helps to build self-esteem and confidence in our students. Each recital offers a platform for them to showcase their progress, overcome stage fright, and take pride in their achievements. This psychological growth is nurtured through regular, supportive performance opportunities that celebrate their musical journey.
Artistic Development: The program emphasises the artistic development of each child’s musical sense. Through varied musical genres, rhythms, and melodic exploration, students develop their musical ear, sense of rhythm, and creativity. They learn to appreciate and express themselves artistically, enhancing their overall musicality.
Social Development: Learning in group settings is a cornerstone of our course. Students collaborate on musical projects, participate in group activities, and engage in ensemble performances. This collective approach not only improves their musical skills but also fosters important social skills such as teamwork and communication.
After completing a minimum of 4 songs (20 sessions), students will have the opportunity to showcase their progress at our student recitals.
Students will also have the option to take Step 1 and Step 2 of the London College of Music graded vocal exams.
