20 Apr Loft Eats: Chamomile and Mint Ice Blend with a Dash of Honey
Ideal for sore and tired throats, this one’s for the days you need a head-clearing, mood-lifting, chiller of a drink.
1/2 Teaspoon Chamomile Flowers
1 Teaspoon Spearmint
1 Teaspoon Lemon Verbena
Ice Cubes (As many as you wish for your desired consistency)
1. Heat 2 cups of water to boil.
2. In a heat-safe container, brew the chamomile and spearmint mixture in the boiling water for about 3 minutes. Remove. Stir in honey, to taste.
3. Place the mixture and ice cubes in a blender until the ice is nicely crushed to fine consistency.
